The Truth About Windshield Repair in Arizona.

Yes. Per Arizona State Law (ARS 20-469) you have the right to choose any glass repair facility for the repair of a loss relating to motor vehicle glass. As the policyholder you have the right to choose the glass company that you prefer. Some insurance companies try to persuade you to use certain shops saying they are the approved vendor, AGD is approved by all major insurance companies

Does My Insurance Cover Auto Glass?

Yes. There are 3 main types of automobile insurance – comprehensive, collision and liability. Auto glass generally falls under comprehensive coverage. If you have full coverage this is considered comprehensive coverage. Will filing an auto glass claim affect my insurance policy?

No, Arizona state law (ARS 20-263) states that a “no fault claim” for windshield replacement will not raise your rates.
